Chief Marketing Officer, Banking
“Lyne was my executive assimilation coach when I started with Webster Bank as EVP of Consumer Lending. She was excellent at helping me to transition from a much larger organization, assess the organizational landscape, rack up critical wins and ultimately be successful in the role. Lyne has a keen appreciation for and understanding of what it takes to be a successful executive today, and will tell you in the most constructive way how to be better. She was an important ingredient to my success.”
VP Human Resources, Financial
“Lyne was an exceptional career and executive coaching partner for me at ING U.S. She brought exceptional coaching skills to the table, which improved overall leadership effectiveness for more than one leader, who without change could not have been successful at the firm. She is calm, clear, supportive and well equipped to handle difficult leadership styles and approaches or to help round out a few rough spots for up and coming leaders. I would highly recommend Lyne for Executive and Career Coaching needs and will use her in the future as needs arise.”

“I enjoyed working with Lyne as an associate for Desormeaux Leadership Consulting. Lyne and I collaborated on several joint projects, including executive team and partner coaching, and in designing and delivering a Conflict Resolution module for 60 SVP's of a large Northeastern Bank. Lyne delivers results by collaborating with and leading teams, building strong, trusting client relationships, and making sure that the work has impact beyond initial delivery.”
Branch Manager – Banking
“Attending this retreat helped me identify the area's that I needed to work and build on. It helped me come out of my shell and flourish. It made me feel confidant, have self-awareness, and provided me with the right tools, in order to help me achieve in the areas that were identified. It was a positive and valuable experience!
As far as my development plan- I'm still attending college, I have become more assertive than I have ever been. I'm also involved in a few projects that will continue to help me with this area.”
Senior Staff Actuary – Health Care
“Retreat I - I learned a lot about myself through the HBDI profile, and what to watch for during high stress times. This awareness has helped me to become a better manager.
Retreat II - The second retreat, really took the time to dig into real life situations where I struggled with being effective. The Hogan assessment let me know a little more about values and challenges. I was made aware that areas that helped me perform well at a staff level could also create issues as I carry them into my management style. It added perspective in working with others on my team.”
A few things that worked well: The fact that coaching sessions continued between retreats helped cement the idea that learning to be a better manager is ongoing. The book recommendations were also a continuous, helpful tool. I’m still working through “Triggers” and making progress in using time effectively.
Retreats are not about praise, agreement, or general process. The 2nd retreat especially focused on all me, where high-scoring personality traits are both a risk and an opportunity. Understanding these has helped me be more aware of my faults and how they can affect others.”
Manager Facility Management - Health Care
"I feel very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to attend two of the Leadership Development Retreats. I personally found it to be very insightful to take the Herman Brain Dominance instrument in Retreat I, as it provided self-awareness of my personal behaviors and performance as a leader. Retreat II offered more of an individualized and personal coaching opportunity, focusing on my specific personal challenges as a leader. Working with a personal coach 1:1 provided very helpful suggestions for improvement in efficiencies, productivity, as well as supplying the necessary tools and resources to aid in my success. I thoroughly enjoyed attending these workshops. I found them to be very informative, personalized, and advantageous in my personal growth and development. I would highly recommend the retreats to anyone pursuing a career in management."
